No, I've just been playing with some new web toys and gotten some motivation from somewhere to do some work on stuff I normally wounldn't because I procratsinate too much.

I hate shit drivers.

I hate being in cars with shit drivers.

I hate it when I have no choice but to get rides with shit drivers. I need a car. Or a motorcycle.. but if thats the case, powers to prevent rain would be useful.

I have to admit that at times, I've been a shit driver. It happens to everyone. There's always a moment when you misjudge something, or fumble for your phone because you perceive that the message you just received demanded your response or you REALLY need a sip from your drink.. but not all the time.

It seems that the people who I've been in a car with recently are Hopeless drivers. And that's being nice. Let me put this into perspective... My housemate has been driving for a while, probably a good 15+ years. But, he's a compulsive texter and caller while he is driving. So bad, to the point that he mentioned how he was almost hit side on because he drove through a round-a-bout while writing/reading a text message... Not a story I like to hear while I'm driving somewhere with him.. while he's texting...

And there is other people too. A guy I've been doing some work with somehow manages to order from McDonalds drive through, make or receive a call and drive in one gear (third) with his knees all at the same time. Really? Cant that wait? To get anywhere in Canberra (by anywhere, I mean... Civic) takes up to ten minutes. Even in peak hour. Can you not wait until you arrive at your destination? Surely the world isn't going to end if you don't multitask? I'm all for saving time, being productive when your stuck in traffic or whatever, but try doing so in a safe manner... listen to a podcast... relax... the world isn't going to end :)

I guess, at the end of the day, I'm not allowed to winge, because the transportation is... free - hence - I need my own car... UGH!
